Montelli, Marina (Instructor)

Marina started her dance career at the age of 4, with classical ballet. Since then she has studied tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, tumbling, and cheer at several studios and gyms all over the bay area. In college, she studied Nutrition and Dance while continuing to take jazz at The Dance Center in Santa Rosa. More recently, Marina spent three years coaching for the Cheerleading Institute of America, a year round, competitive, traveling all-star cheer team. With the most memorable competition taking her to Hawaii where her team competed against teams from all over the world like Australia, Japan, and Canada. Then four years ago, she was one of the founding coaches of Carpy Gang Cheerleading here in St. Helena, where you can find her on the sidelines coaching and cheering on her two daughters and her son during football season. Marina has turned her passion for the art of dance and cheer into a passion for teaching and coaching young dancers and athletes to tune into their passion for performing arts all while building confidence, work ethic, and life skills that help them be successful in and out of the studio.-- Marina Montelli
